Solar Farm for Normanton-le-Heath

Resident mailshot - Normanton-le-Heath Solar FarmBelectric will be in Packington Memorial Hall on Thursday 29th May showing details of their proposed solar farm development on land to the north of School Lane outside the village of Normanton-le-Heath.

If you would like to have a look at the details of the scheme, please pop in between 2.30pm and 7.30pm where you will be able to have a look at the information boards and ask them any questions.

At long last we have a telephone line and internet, so it is beginning to feel like we are making progress!

We would like to thank the village for its support since we came despite these technology hiccups and the failings of BT!! We really appreciate meeting you and many thanks for all your good wishes.

The Bull & Lion landline is 01530 415257. We are planning to start serving food from Tuesday 27th May and the menu will be published the week before. In the meantime the following matches will be broadcast so do come and join us

More Songs from the Shows – Saturday 17th May 2014

The Bluecoat Singers are really looking forward to supporting Normanton Holy Trinity Church with their “More Songs from the Shows” Concert at Packington Memorial Hall on Saturday May 17th. IMG_9508 Bluecoat (5)

Bluecoat” were founded more than 50 years ago, staging performances of light opera and singing in concerts and shows across the East Midlands, frequently raising money for local charities or community projects.

Come along for an evening of fun and light-hearted humour focused on popular music across the years.

Tickets are £10 (£5 for Under 12s) and include complimentary canapés. The doors and bar open at 7.00 pm for a 7.30 pm start.
